Thorn Cycles, also known as SJS Cycles, started in 1983 with a small shop
supplying and maintaining cycles for the local area. Comments from the manager responsible for implementing the system were:
"We now have 30 members of staff working in premises of 1200 square metres and cater for a large, discerning UK market as well as demand from overseas.
We use the TimeLOG system, which was specified by A2T when we were looking for a system some years ago to help us improve time keeping. This it has certainly done!
We wanted to install the hardware ourselves so that we could meet our budget rather than having to pay someone else to do it. A2T were agreeable to that approach..
After we had installed the hardware and cabling, A2T commissioned the system very efficiently. The software was installed on our server by A2T and the data connection worked easily. To save us time in getting the system up and running, we chose to have our rules programmed into the system by A2T.
Our system adminstrators were trained by A2T in the day-to-day use of the system. We found that the data from the system enabled us to improve staff time keeping. We also have lots of easy-to-access reports that analyse attendance and working hours in different ways.
A2T continues to support us in a friendly and efficient manner. We are happy to recommend A2T as a supplier of Time and Attendance systems."
