Marketing Assistant - Telemarketing

A2T is a business selling relatively-complex systems where we seek to provide excellent after-sales technical support and training so that our customers get the full benefit over many years from the systems they purchase.
Our customers are in a wide variety of market segments which include, amongst many others, manufacturing, transport, food processing, shopping centres and local authorities.
This position involves researching market segments relevant to the company’s business areas and identifying target organisations and businesses where the company’s systems are applicable.
The main task is building a marketing database of prospective business customers using a telemarketing approach to pre-quality targets for marketing campaigns.
You need to have an excellent telephone manner as well as IT skills in Windows-based business-software packages and use of the internet.
Previous marketing experience is essential. Training in the company’s business and systems will be given.
This is part-time role with flexible hours by agreement. It fits with working partially from home, if the candidate has a suitable home-office environment, as well as from the company’s office in Midsomer Norton. Remuneration will be pro-rata to a full-time role and depend on ability and experience. This position has the potential to grow as A2T develops its marketing function.
