Setting the BST/GMT changes in Timeware 5

Please find below the instructions for setting up your system to change the time automatically for BST/GMT.

Please check/set the BST/GMT settings in your system as detailed below. Please note these instructions cover both the clock change in March and October.

NOTE :

Please note that some sites may have password restrictions enabled, which will require a supervisor's login to proceed. It may also be necessary to ensure that you are the only user logged into Timeware while performing this task (this includes the Task Scheduler).

Please check that the correct time is showing on the computer, this time will be used when updating the clocking terminals.

Start your Timeware application as normal.

 

 

Tools Menu

 

Select the tools drop down menu at the top of the screen, and select Hardware.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Then Time and date (BST/GMT)…

Under BST/GMT time changes enter the following where the dates are correct for the year in question (dates correct for early 2008)...

BST: 30/03/2008 Time: 2:00 change to Date: 30/03/2008 Time: 3:00

GMT: 26/10/2008 Time: 3:00 change to Date: 26/10/2008 Time: 2:00

Select Save time changes.Settings Save

 

 

Set time and dateHaving checked that your PC system time is correct, select Set time and date. The system will program in the new time and the BST/GMT settings.

 

 

Timeware CloseWait for the time and BST/GMT settings to be set on the terminal(s) and then select the close button.
